Bramford Pump Track

In April 2024, Clark and Kent Contractors celebrated the successful completion of the all-tarmac Bramford Pump Track just outside Ipswich.

This project resulted from a significant collaboration between Clark and Kent and Bramford Parish Council, creating a dynamic new recreational facility that seamlessly complemented the area's existing amenities.

From the outset, both Clark Kent and Bramford Council recognised the importance of designing a pump track that integrates with existing facilities and the natural landscape.

By leveraging their expertise and resources, we enhanced the overall recreational offerings in the Bramford area. The construction of the all-tarmac Bramford Pump Track provided residents with a new and exciting BMX track and contributed to the area's overall appeal and attractiveness for outdoor recreation.

Through careful material selection and construction practices, the pump track was designed to withstand the test of time while minimising its ecological footprint. The team can't wait to load up the bikes and spend the day riding this awesome track.

Local youngsters lobbied for a new Bramford Wheels pump track at the village's playing fields after trying to build their own dirt ramps at the site. The village campaign resulted in a petition gathering around 500 signatures and Bramford Parish Council approving £90,000 in funding for the project.

Council chairman, councillor Lester Powell, said the new track was one of several initiatives in the village. He said of the track: "It's constructed by one of the leading contractors in the country. They built the BMX venue for the London Olympics and the European Championships in Glasgow. Bramford will have one of the best pump tracks in the whole county."
