West Winch BMX Pump Track

Local young people championed the West Winch pump track project to provide a safe space to enjoy cycling away from the busy roads in and around the Norfolk village,

Using their skill and experience, Clark & Kent track construction experts made the most out of the footprint with design changes on-site during construction. This led to an increase in the length of the pump track and a bespoke design with a great variety of features for all ages and abilities.

The West Winch pump track project is an example of a long-lasting, maintenance-free riding surface facility that can be used in all weather.

Our specialist team undertook all groundwork, surfacing, landscaping, safety signage and track marking work in-house. Our fleet of tier 5 and 6 machinery meant an economically friendly approach to construction that helped reduce our carbon footprint.

We look forward to working in the Norfolk area and are always happy to help out local councils, construction companies or private clients regarding BMX track construction.

The pump track is part of a new playground close to the village hall in the grounds of the William Burt social club. The bulk of the funding for the project came from a grant from the FCC Communities Foundation and from West Norfolk Council's Community Infrastructure Levy.
