Cleethorpes' four-person BMX pump track is designed to help riders improve their skills on the way to riding a full-size BMX track. A refreshing retreat for the local community to enjoy and suitable for all ages and abilities, this simple yet engaging track design shows what can be created with good use of space.

The pump track for Cleethorpes was installed in record time and shows yet again the commitment of the Clark & Kent BMX track-building team to getting the job done with some unrivalled finishing touches.

The local council decided that there was a need for a multi-wheeled facility for the area. After securing funding, Clark & Kent Contractors won the tender because of their proven track record of value-for-money BMX track-building projects.

The pump track design and building work included consulting with user groups in creating track designs and supplying drawing packages to assist with planning. We fenced and secured the site, installing relevant control measures for pedestrian access before setting out with the client and engineer.

Pre-construction work included tree and root protection measures, marking and setting out, site strip and clearance, and materials storage. The track build involved drainage works, sub-base works and tarmac surfacing. We finished off with turf landscaping and the installation of permanent user signage. Working with restricted access and egress due to the busy local area, Clark & Kent Contractors delivered the project on time and under budget.
