Stuttgart BMX SX Track, Germany

Stuttgart's BMX Supercross track is the first and, so far, the only track of its kind in Germany. It has helped make Stuttgart a hotspot for ambitious BMX riders across Europe.

The track is around 423 metres long and has two starting ramps at five and eight metres. There are four straights, each of which splits into two parts, offering enormous development potential for advanced riders and top athletes. The combination of obstacles and three steep asphalt bends make this a World Cup-level circuit.

Clark & Kent Contractors completed work on this competition track for the BDR (German Cycling Federation). The work included shaping, compacting and surfacing the track and improving drainage.

The track operator is BMX-UNION Stuttgart, a community base for BMX sports activities in Baden-Württemberg and a cross-association union of cyclists and associations of the Württembergischer Radsportverband and the Badischer Radsport-Verband (cycling unions of Württemberg and Baden).

BMX-UNION Stuttgart aims to install and operate training and competition tracks at an international level and promote competitive sports. In 2019, BMX-UNION Stuttgart organised the German BMX Racing Championship, and it regularly hosts open sessions on the Supercross track to get people excited about the sport.

The Stuttgart BMX track posted the German BMX Championship in 2021 and is organising the BMX European Cup rounds in 2022. Stuttgart is the capital of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg and a cosmopolitan and lively city. Details of BLM track events are here at the BMX-UNION website.
