Located on Mary Webb Road in Meole Brace, Shrewsbury, the newly redeveloped BMX pump track delivers a modern all-weather riding facility designed for BMX riders, scooters, skateboards and MTB users of all ages and abilities. Built by Clark & Kent Contractors, the project brings a much-loved local riding spot back to life with a flowing asphalt layout, progressive features and durable construction designed for year-round use.

A Community Track Rebuilt for the Future

For more than two decades, the original Meole Brace track served as a meeting point for local riders before eventually falling into disrepair. Following investment from Shrewsbury Town Council, the site has now been completely transformed into a modern pump track facility built to current riding and safety standards.

The redevelopment was especially meaningful for Clark & Kent Contractors, whose founders originally rode the old Meole Brace track as youngsters before returning years later to rebuild it professionally.

The flowing circuit allows riders to generate momentum by “pumping” through rollers and corners without pedalling, helping develop bike handling, balance and confidence.
