Clark & Kent Contractors are proud to have been selected to design and build the new state of the art pump track at Riverside Park in Glenrothes. As part of a major £5 million regeneration scheme led by Fife Council, the track raises the bar for inclusive, high-performance wheeled sports facilities in the region.

Size & Specification: The track measures about 125m -- 60m, with design standards suitable for BMX, mountain bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc., and built to support competition level usage.

Inclusivity & Accessibility: Fully accessible paths and linkages to existing pedestrian and cycle networks, ensuring the track is available to users of all abilities.

Multi use: Designed for a breadth of riders--from beginners to more advanced users--integrating progression loops and varied terrain.

Supporting Infrastructure: The pump track is one of multiple improvements in Riverside Park, including upgraded pathways, play areas, significant planting, toilet facilities, resurfaced car parks, and enhanced connectivity.

Design & Planning

Our in house design team crafted the track's layout and features to meet performance, safety, and aesthetic criteria. We worked closely with Fife Council, community stakeholders, and the "Friends of Riverside Park" group to ensure that the facility met both user needs and environmental and site constraints.

Construction & Deliverables

Works included ground works, drainage, surfacing, safety signage, and integration with surrounding park landscaping. We also paid close attention to durability, maintenance friendly materials, and quality finishes so the track will serve well for years to come.

Safety, Standards & Certification

The facility meets relevant safety standards, including audited designs and inspections. We always ensure compliance with all local regulations, and were required, coordination with safety bodies.
